The
FAUX PROS Faux Finishing Specialists is Lisa
Dileo. Lisa has worked in the Art and
Design industry since 1990 after earning 2 year
degrees in Textile Design and Fabric Styling as
well as a BA from the Fashion Institute of Technology
in New York.
Before
opening The FAUX PROS, Lisa was assistant to the
president of a major handpainted wallcoverings
company in New York City, oversaw ordering of
fabrics and wallcoverings, managed a 30 man production
team, and held an instructors position for the
Faux Master's Studios. Sylvester Stallone and
Jennifer Love Hewitt are among some of The FAUX
PROS clients!

Brenda
Kilgore studied painting and drawing
extensively beginning with a Bachelor's degree
in illustration from The Fashion Institute of
Technology. She worked as an art director for
Pyramid Handbags, designing children's accessories
for such companies as Walt Disney and Warner Brothers
as well as freelance designs for Regina Porter
Women's wear. Her designs were featured in "W"
magazine as notable. She left designing to follow
her desire for fine art and studied several years
with Burton Silverman. At that time, she decided
to pursue her Masters degree at New York Academy
of Fine Art, Graduate School of Figurative Art.
There she studied with Dean Keller, Randy Melick,
Ted Schmidt, Patrick Connors and Vincent Desiderio
among others. She has also taken classes at The
Art Students League in New York and most recently
studied with Anthony Ryder and Tim Stotz in 2004
at Studio Escalier in Argenton-Chateau, France
for a three month summer intensive. She currently
teaches part time at The Armory Art Center, West
Palm Beach, FL.
Brenda
moved to Florida in 2002 to become partners with
Lisa DiLeo in The Faux Pros in a faux finish and
mural painting business which has worked all over
the country for such clients as Reggie Jackson,
Sylvester Stallone and many notable private homes
and public restaurants. Their work was recently
seen in "World's Leading Estates" magazine.
